Blue Derby Pods Ride offers luxury adventure mountain biking Experiences based from Derby, Tasmania. We are seeking to find the right person to join our team as a 'Bus Driver/Operations Assistant'.
The successful applicant needs to hold a current drivers licence, be physically fit, have strong time management and communication skills and be well presentable.
Employment is on a casual basis and would vary from 1 to 4 days a week of work based from Derby, Tasmania. Would suit semi-retired or parent looking for extra work.
Role specifics
As a Bus Driver/Operation Assistance, your role will include two core areas of work; bus driving (with a bike trailer) and implementing trip logistics.
Our Experiences run over 3- or 4-Days and your role will be to support our groups, led by our Experience Leaders, with tasks including:
- Guest bus transfers
- Shuttle driving
- Carting luggage from the bus up to our accommodation
- Carting trip supplies from the bus up to our accommodation
- Ensuring you are in clear communication with our group via radio
- Setting up picnic lunches
