Team Day: Fossicking and Mountain Biking!

Every year we treat ourselves to a day of adventure together... At our annual Pods team day!

This year we really dived into our adventure values and alongside Des Grey and Des Grey Wearable Art we spent a day riding to the most stunning river location on the remote Blue Tier to fossick fro Tasmanian sapphires! We all rode, shovels strapped to bikes, panning sieves squished in back packs to this special location. Mud and adrenaline levels high, we then weaved our way through dense rainforest to start panning. Yes, the rivers were freezing, but once we started to find sapphires, none of us noticed! After multiple hours, and much success, we called 'last sieves!', before jumping on the bikes to ride the final trails at dusk back to Weldborough Hotel for a much earned dinner. What a day.
