A week in Northern Tasmania - it sounds idyllic to us!

We often get asked about pre- or post-Experience ideas for our guests, for which we love crafting something special for each of you. However, below would be our recommendations for a week in Northern Tasmania.

Day 1 - Arrive & Settle In

Arrive in Launceston and settle in to the small town feel. Find your accommodation and a cosy place to eat.

Day 2 - Blue Derby Pods Ride

Start your day one of our Blue Derby Pods Ride Experience. We'll pick you directly up from your accommodation. Full itinerary details here.

Day 3 - Blue Derby Pods Ride

Continue the journey of our Experience. On Day two you'll explore deeper into the world famous Blue Derby Mountain Bike Trails. Full itinerary details here.

Day 4 - Blue Derby Pods Ride

Your final day with us (unless you opt for our 4-Day Experience)! You'll finish the day of riding grinning ear to ear at the bottom of the iconic Blue Tier trail. We'll then drive back to Launceston which completes your time with us. Full itinerary details here.

Eat: Stillwater, dine-in at the much-acclaimed restaurant for a post-trip celebration

Day 5 - Pamper & Local Food

After three days of riding a mountain bike, a slower day pampering yourself and exploring Launceston's local food options is a must. Take some time at The House of Prana for a float, yoga session or massage or explore The Cataract Gorge on foot.

Stay: The Trig (hire a car to get out here) or The Florance

Eat: Sweetbrew, Bread and Butter, Bryher or Geronimo

Day 6 - Wineries & Day Adventures

Hire a car and explore the Tamar Valley wineries. Josef Chromy, Tamar Ridge Cellar Door and Turner Stillhouse are some of our favourites. Alternatively, see Northern Tasmania by air with a Unique Charters helicopter day trip.

Stay: The Trig or The Florance

Eat: Josef Chromy Winery or Mud Bar (dinner)

Locations discovered: Tamar Valley

Day 7 - Fresh Air & Fly Out

Your final day in Northern Tasmania. Join the locals for a final stroll exploring more of the trails around The Cataract Gorge before you fly home.

Eat: Saint John's Craft Beer for a casual lunch and beer or back to one of your favourites.
